Thai Boat Noodles at Kuchai Lama

We were in PJ over the weekend and decided to try the Thai Boat Noodles at Kuchai Lama. Waited 30 mins for the seat, another 20 mins to be served and it took us only 10 to 15 mins to finish the 12 bowls of noodles... 

My mum keep insisting that she can cook better lo.. unfortunately  I told her she is not Thai lady la.... 

Frankly to enjoy thai food, you need to put all the 4 condiments on the tables (fish sauce, chili flakes, sugar and another chili sauce), otherwise it be will be bland..... 

Sun set on 22 August 2014.. it was a sad day for the nation as victims of MH17 arrived home in Malaysia... .Whenever the DJ or TV announcers mentioned tht they are home, my eyes will start to tears. Such as sad day.

FiRsT pOsTiNgs iN yEaR 2014

Oh gosh, just realized I had abandoned my personal blog for 3 years. Rediscovered today as I was stalking http://bigcowgoesmootoo.blogspot.com and was clicking on links to read other blog and found myself “- -“

Oh well, 3 years has passed and my achievement so far … zero ! still not enuff $$, no bf but lucky got a house which I shared with my bro. Thank god, we bought this property as we could not afford now as all properties price has gone up to RM350k and above !!!  

For my personal wellbeing, early January went to Langkawi with BFF… happy with the trip, no rushing around, laze around, makan, massage .. I missed this already.  Went to Kluang to visit Jessy… and then to Singapore to visit Joyzie and bb…..

At home, this year mummy was admitted for 3 times, 1^st two times was for medical checkup as she is having difficulties to pass motion. Doctor has done all the necessary scans and her body was fine. She was admitted again at the end of May due to gallbladder infection. Discharged after 8 days. Admitted again to remove the gallbladder before Hari Raya holidays. May need to go for another surgery for her knee cap replacement but depends on the welfare as her insurance card does not cover her left leg anymore.

Work wise, more responsibilities and was given some perks to enjoy and an incentive trip in year 2013 organised by the 1^st dealership we got. But it is still tiring as I managed two svc ctr with the help of the senior technicians. Encountered lots of problems with staffs being lack of initiative, discipline and sense of urgency.  Trying very hard to train and improve their working attitude but I think I prefer talking to the wall now!!

That’s my life summary for the past 1.5 years…..

My mom is taking care of this 8 months old baby girl and i noticed she look familiar... with this baby on the sticker which i found in the tuition centre.

My internal strength .....

As a consequences of my internal strength, i spoilt the handle of my car.... sigh..... happens last friday, had to entered my car using the passenger side..... sent the car for servicing on Saturday at the same time. The mechanic advised that this is not under guarantee and I need to pay... and he advised that one of the mechanisim inside was broken due to force... hmmm...

The only issue is the standard car handle are black in color and my car is white and it will be weird if I agreed on the standard for one side and the rest are white in color.. had to wait for 1 week for the shop to send the handle for spraying ..........

4th day at work ......

was put on the floor this morning to listen and observe how the seniors work…. the management is trying to make sure that we understand what we are getting our self into…. The other reason was the last batch that joined before us, left after 3 months and they are worried that this happens again to our batch …… I can safely said for myself that I am very interested in the job and I think I will enjoyed working in this company as I have no issue about discipline, sense of urgency, hard work and the only thing is to learn the company products and applications as soon as possible… am looking forward to start on the operations asap…

Like the way the management worked too, very structured and also very open, they spelled and keep repeating on what is their expectation ……… and what to expect… am glad at least i know what to expect in future in the office …..

Will be joining the company for the annual dinner at Le Meridien tomorrow…

~~~3rd quarter of 2010

was off radar for quite some time.... no mood to updates as was busy hunting for a job... a job where I will feel secure, useful and also put my years of experiences into use....... I finally found a job at the end of June 2010 and was advised to report to work on 02-Aug-2010. It was reported in the news that the job market in m'sia had improved but i dont sense or see it anyway...... or could it becoz of my age which makes it very diffcult for company to see the potential for hiring an old maid like me...

During the 1st day, we went though the usual stuff of self introduction and also introduction to the company history, vision, mission and HR stuff by the HR department. Had to go to maybank during lunch hour to fix my ATM card but was informed the chip was blocked by some sticky stuff and by rubbing on it, i was able to use the card again.... was terrified over the weekend as I was not able to withdraw $$ to use....

Had full day today where we were introduced to the Ops and also the job description. After going through all those briefing, I felt that I can work in this company happily. It sounds scary with those evacuation/repatriation and etc.... but i believe i can work with this company as I am hardworking and does not mind hard work. And also i believe my years of experiences will helps ............. nothing is impossible and there are tons of stuffs (such as medical terms and also applications) to learn !!! am looking forward to be on the floor soon.... yeah. .. .
